Whitdel Arts x Baltimore Gallery
Reception: Friday, October 13th, 6-9pm
October 7 – October 21, 2017

Baltimore Gallery
314 E Baltimore Ave, Detroit, MI 48202

Whitdel Arts in conjunction with the SculptureX Symposium will be presenting  a solo exhibition of work by Emily Freese as the follow up to her piece in the SculptureX Regional Undergraduate Exhibition 2015 being chosen best in show.

Freese is from Indianapolis, Indiana where she graduated with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from Herron School of Art and Design. She is currently attending Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan for a Master in Fine Arts in Sculpture. Freese creates a combination of sterility and repulsion to function as a form of familiarity in connection to the body. Constantly questioning this familiarity and altering it or stripping it until becomes a new state of cognizance.

Please join us for an opening reception for the artists on Friday, October 13th,  2017 at Baltimore Gallery.

The exhibition will run from October 7 – 21, 2017. This event is free and open to the public.  All ages welcome. For more information, e-mail Rachel at Rachel@Whitdelarts.com. For a full schedule of exhibitions and events at Whitdel Arts, please visit www.whitdelarts.com
